Proj 365 Mar 4th

Ok, if some of you have been watching. I haven't posted in a while as I went with my wife to Louisville Kentucky where she was one of the speakers at the regional SBL (Society of Biblical Literature) conference there. We were gone 4 days and it has been catch up around home every since. Anyway, here are some photos of the trip. (I know, one a day but I could only narrow it down to four.)

My wife worries about me, why I don't know. It was raining most of the trip but I got some shots in. Here is the bridge next to the KFC Yum Arena. I didn't get the name but I was standing in the middle of the road to get this shot. (But honey, there was not traffic behind me, I looked!)

A side note: After seeing this and knowing other things I have done to "get the shot" my wife has become more worried after hearing that the only US mainland fatality from the Japan earthquake and Tsunami was a photographer in California that was taking a photo of the wave and it engulfed him and swept him out to sea. They do not expect to recover his body. You have to be a little crazy to be a photographer.

Here we have something similar in nature to the wolves that are scattered around Raleigh, home of the NCSU Wolfpack. Since Louisville is home to the Kentucky Derby, they appear to have sprinkled horses around the town.

The water fountain in front of the KFC Yum arena. The jets of water "dance" in patterns as the lights change. I got a movie of it and will try to post if if I can.

Another shot of the "dancing lights so you can see the difference.
